Reducing and possible bruising effect that can lead to increased plant pathogen attack if using regular carbide tips. Accelerated wear is reduced with the rotor shaft able to turn through 180 degrees enabling the use of both sides of the blade tip to maintain a sharp edge to the grass at all times.
