We offer four training courses at your venue to get the best from your Toro equipment in just two days. The courses available cover operating machinery safely, maintaining the mechanics of your machine, calibrating your sprayer, and using our range of electric machines.

It incorporates the purchase price of an asset with its operating costs over its life span including maintenance, fuel, labour, even downtime, to assess the long-term value of the purchase. Yes! Toro has developed a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculator to demonstrate the financial return on investment that can be achieved by switching from engine power to battery power. It includes purchase price, operating hours per year, maintenance costs, fuel and energy costs, plus any grants or rebates. The results are published as key metrics including operational cost savings per month and year, as well as how many months it takes to break even on electric equipment compared to the petrol or diesel equivalent. A new Toro machine typically comes with either a two or three-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, though specific details and coverage may vary depending on the model. You may be able to purchase extended warranties for additional coverage beyond the standard 2 or 3 years. Warranties for batteries and some parts may have a different timed warranty. We recommend consulting the user manual or contact your local Toro dealer to verify the exact warranty details for your Toro machine.

The Toro Company promises to repair the Toro Product if defective in materials or workmanship for the period covered. The warranty applies only if you perform the routine maintenance specified in the Operator’s Manual. Toro makes no other express warranty. The engine manufacturer may provide its own engine warranty and special emission system warranty. If applicable, the documentation will be provided with your product.

If you think that your Toro Product contains a defect in materials or workmanship, follow this procedure: 1. Contact your Toro Authorised Service Center to arrange service of the product. Visit http://www.toro.com and select WHERE TO BUY to locate a Toro service center in your area. 2. Bring the product and your proof of purchase (sales receipt) to the service center location. The service center will diagnose the problem and determine if it is covered under warranty. 3. Toro machines are designed to be precision tools and they are known to be the best quality money can buy. To fit that machine with a non-genuine part won’t get the best performance from the machine – it won’t always fit properly and there could be gaps meaning the Toro cut won’t be as precise anymore. When you see the term Genuine attached to Toro Parts you can be assured that part was designed and produced from the same manufacturing line as the machine, so it will not only work first time, every time, but perform precisely too.

Storing batteries at 100 percent charge can shorten their lifespan. Before storing your machine or battery, charge or discharge the batteries to around 50 percent. This will keep the battery-cell voltages at a specific range, which helps reduce parasitic reactions that may lead to inefficiencies and reduce the amount of energy that the cell can store and output. 

Power is the amount of electricity needed to run an electric motor at a given moment. This instantaneous supply of electrical energy is measured in watts or kilowatts. 1000 watts = 1 KW. For example, an electric motor could have an output capable of delivering 1 KW, or 1000 watts of power.

Energy is the amount of power needed to run an electric motor for a period of time, or the amount of stored electrical capacity within a battery. Energy is measured in watt hours or kilowatt hours (kWh), which can be calculated by the amount of power (kW) multiplied by the time (hours). Batteries are measured in kWh. If a battery pack is rated at 8.64 kWh, the battery pack has the capability of delivering 8.64 KW for one hour OR 1 KW for 8 hours.

Lithium-ion batteries are connected through numerous cables between the batteries and the battery management system. These connections need to be clean and tight or capacity issues, faults and operational issues may occur.
